New York, NY (April 4, 2013) -- Multiple Grammy Award winner, Israel Houghton performs on the annual BET Celebration of Gospel TV special airing this Sunday April 7th at 8pm EST. Along with friends, Jason Nelson and Jonathan Butler, Houghton performed the number one gospel song in the country "It's Not Over, (When God Is In It)," off of his top selling album, Jesus At The Center.
Jesus At The Center, a double-disc CD and DVD set, has topped the chart since its release and is Houghton's first from his own label RGM-NewBreed.
As usual, Houghton moved audiences with an absolutely powerful worship experience which was capped off with an a cappella ending of his other hit, "Moving Forward."
Houghton continues with a busy schedule with appearances, performances and recent production work including Darlene Zschech's new CD. Houghton and business partner Galley Molina also recently launched their movie production company RGM Films and will release their first feature film "I'm In Love With A Church Girl." Houghton is Vice President of RGM Films and serves as the movie's executive producer as well as one of the music composers along with Oscar winning composer Bruce Fowler. A story about love and redemption, "I'm In Love With A Church Girl," stars Ja Rule, Adrienne Bailon and Stephen Baldwin and will be released theatrically on October 4, 2013 through FilmDistrict.
